More about me, on a more guitar nerd level.
I play two different guitars, depending on the day, mood, and sound I'm looking for.

I love all kinds of guitar gadgets and accessories:
Strings - Savarez, Knobloch & Augustine
Guitar supports - best 3 guitar supports with differing pros/cons. Sageworks, Woodside & GuitarLift.
Abel arm rest - very comfortable attachment for the guitar allowing your right arm to sit comfortably.
Tuner - TC Electronic Polytune.
Peg winder & drill bit attachment - for fast, comfortable string changes.
Music Stand light - by Lotus Light.
Music Stands - sturdy and reliable, and a portable stand.
Tremolo mute - good way to practice quietly.
Bridge beads - great way to keep string angle high enough if action needs to be lowered.
Crystal nail file - small, nail file that doesn't shred your nails when filing. Washable.
GuitarPlayerNails.com - very good sounding fake nails, with all the needed tools/accessories to apply and remove nails easily (with some practice!).
Metronome - Seiko SQ-50V Quartz metronome (sturdy, and has volume rocker) and metronome beats app (for more diverse options). The BodyBeat by Peterson is a low tech, reliable way to help feel the beat.
Luva Arm pad - with rigid support which is uber comfortable for those long practice sessions.
USB microphone & Audacity recording software - easy and affordable way to record yourself practicing and evaluate your playing.
Having concertized across North America, classical guitarist Michael Braun is an avid promoter of the classical guitar, both in a solo setting and with various chamber ensembles. Teaching is also a great passion for Michael, and he maintained a full teaching studio in his home country of Canada for a number of years before making the move to San Francisco to further his education, graduating from the San Francisco Conservatory of Music, where Michael studied with Marc Teicholz as well as with Sergio Assad, David Tanenbaum, and Richard Savino. He has been selected to play in numerous master classes, most notably with Manuel Barrueco, Sergio Assad, the LAGQ, Fabio Zanon, and Raphaella Smits.
Michael currently resides in San Jose where he maintains a full private studio.
